Basic First Aid & CPR Training

Empowering the community is part of our DNA. We offer certified training sessions for businesses, schools, and individuals. Our courses cover CPR, choking, and basic wound care, turning ordinary bystanders into the first link in the chain of survival.

Basic First Aid & CPR Training is an essential service aimed at turning ordinary bystanders into a vital first link in the chain of survival. In a medical emergency, the care a patient receives in the first few minutes—before the ambulance arrives—often determines the final outcome.

At Mgebas Ambulance Services, we don’t just respond to emergencies; we empower our community to handle them. Our training programs are practical, easy to understand, and designed for real-world situations.

Core Training Modules

1. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

We teach the latest industry-standard techniques for infants, children, and adults. Our hands-on training ensures that participants feel confident in maintaining blood flow and oxygenation to the brain during a cardiac arrest until our paramedics take over.

2. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use

Modern workplaces and public spaces are increasingly equipped with AEDs. We take the “mystery” out of these life-saving devices, teaching participants how to safely and effectively use an AED to restart a heart.

3. Choking & Airway Obstruction

Time is of the essence when someone cannot breathe. We train participants in the Heimlich maneuver and other clearing techniques tailored for different age groups, from newborns to the elderly.

4. Basic Wound Care & Bleeding Control

From minor cuts to serious industrial or farm injuries, knowing how to apply pressure, use a tourniquet, and dress a wound correctly can prevent a patient from going into shock due to blood loss.
